My Writing Journey

I started this blog in April 2011 because of my passion for sharing knowledge. I also wanted to use it to inspire, educate and motivate women.
Back then I didn’t really know much about blogging. I wanted to write because I love writing. To be honest, it was a lonely journey for me in the blogging world. And it wasn’t easy.
Anyway I persisted. I don’t give up easily. When I want to do something, I go for it. Even if it means making sacrifices.
And believe me, I sacrificed a lot of my time. I spent hours and hours sitting at the computer writing.
There were times when I wanted to quit. But I carried on anyway. The words from one of my favourite quotes, “Winners don’t quit and quitters don’t win” played over and over in my mind. It kept me going.
Recently, a blogger who’s inspired and encouraged me for a while now, has taken my writing journey to another level. His name is Bamidele Onibalusi and the name of his blog is YoungPrePro.
He’s started a new chapter in his blog and created a new team. And I’m one of the team members. My role is to research, compile resource posts and contribute my own articles.
I’ve already submitted my first article which I would like to share with you.
How to Overcome the Number One Writer’s Enemy
I’m so excited to be part of his team. I feel honoured. This is a massive turning point for me in my writing career and blogging journey.
I would like to encourage you by saying, “Don’t ever give up on your dreams. You never know when it will become a reality.” Always work hard towards achieving your goals.
