My Blog’s 2013 Annual Report is Awesome

The annual report for my blog for 2013 was incredible. Thanks for viewing, reading and commenting. I was thrilled to find out that I had readers from 190 countries. I appreciate every one of you.

Number of total views for 2013

Over 81,000 people viewed Miraculous Ladies. I had no idea that my blog reached so many people.

Most Popular Posts

Although I’m not talking about SEO keywords here, using them directed readers to my blog.

I check my Jetpack Stats daily to find out which keywords are getting readers to my blog. Although I wrote the two top posts in 2011 and 2012 they still attract a lot of readers every day.

These are the most popular posts:

1. Can You Restore a Water Damaged iPhone?

Seeing my iPhone in the toilet bowl nearly triggered a panic attack moment!

My nightmare

Have you ever felt like you’re in a nightmare and want to wake up?

That’s how I felt when my iPhone slipped out of my pocket and landed down the toilet.

My iPhone is one of my most precious possessions. It’s my lifeline.  I use it to write notes for article ideas, store photos, save all my family and friends’ contact details, keep sentimental text messages (don’t ask) and much more.

2. 15 Surprising Benefits of Cucumber

Did you know that cucumbers originated in India? Their cultivation took place for about 3000 years in Western Asia. The cultivation process started in France in the 9th century, then in England in the 14th century and finally in North America by the mid 16th century. The Romans introduced cucumbers to Europe.

Although cucumbers are fruits, we eat them as vegetables. They contain more than 90% of water.

3. 5 Lies That can Destroy Your Self Confidence

I’ve been thinking about self-confidence lately. Mainly because it’s something I’ve struggled with for most of my life.

The words self-confidence carries a lot of power.  When you have it, you’re free from doubt. You believe in yourself and in your abilities.

4. What’s Ganoderma Mushroom and Organo Gold Coffee Got in Common?

Ganoderma Lucidum is a rare mushroom with shiny red skin. It’s known as the red reishi in Japan and lingzhi in China. The mushrooms are grown at bases  and stumps of deciduous trees such as maples. The interesting thing is that only 2 or 3 trees out of 10,000 produces the Ganoderma growth.

Many years ago, only kings and emperors could afford the expensive, luxurious drinks made from Ganoderma. The location of this mushroom was kept as a well guarded secret, to protect its rarity.

5. Unhealthy Relationship Signs and How to Fix Them

An unhealthy relationship can break you down. If you’re in an unhealthy relationship, you have two choices. You can either fix it or end the relationship. When you’re not happy, every part of you suffers. An unhealthy relationship can make you a physical and emotional wreck.

So how do you turn your unhealthy relationship into a healthy relationship?

Post with the most comments

It’s amazing how many people drop their iPhones in water.

I wrote a post after I accidentally dropped mine down the toilet. I had to share my crazy experience with you. I didn’t think this post would attract so much attention!

I was wrong. I discovered lots of desperate iPhone users looking to save their water damaged phones.

My annual report is encouraging. Like I mentioned in my last post for 2013, Miraculous Ladies will be taking a change of direction this year. I’ve enjoyed my blogging journey so far. But it’s time to make positive changes. In my next post I’ll be telling you what I’m planning and include a survey to get your opinion.

Happy New Year and thank you!

  3. Hi June,

Wow, what a great post and stats to share for last year. Isn’t it amazing when you see how far you’ve come and it’s so thrilling when you see how many people are reading your content.

That’s why statistics are so important for our blogs so we can see what’s going on behind the scenes even if people aren’t commenting. I think you’ve done remarkably well and I have no doubt you’ll continue with this new year.

Thank you so much for the mention and I’m so happy to support you and your blog. Keep up the fabulous work and I’ll be seeing you around again this year.

Thank you for the note by the way, I so appreciate it.
